It was 1981 when Wim and Jamme founded Somers Optiek. Soon the desire and vision grew to distinguish themselves even more and to set their own course. Doing what you love, finding pleasure in the happiness and compliments of customers. That's how theo saw the light of day in 1987. A collection that should fit the typical Somers Optiek customer: positive, colourful, humorous and always with an edge. We couldn't, can't and won't describe our customers any better. Meanwhile, theo has become a fixture in the optics world. Our collection can be found in about 1,600 opticians' shops in 50 countries.
